Dogs are very welcome at Skagen Sydstrand Camping.
Look forward to wonderful experiences, such as the dog-friendly beaches, two picturesque dog forests in the area and an exceptionally natural stay at one of Skagen’s most beautiful campsites, located at the northernmost tip of Denmark! In spring and fall, dogs are allowed to roam freely on the beach and plunge into the refreshing waves – under supervision, of course.
In 2023, we renovated one of our service buildings and set up a dog bath. So your dog can be rinsed off after a trip to the Kattegat or after a lovely walk in the North Jutland countryside.
At Skagen Sydstrand Camping we welcome dogs and their owners. Your four-legged friend is welcome to vacation with you in your own caravan or motorhome on the campsite’s wonderfully green grounds – and he can even move into one of the popular glamping suites if you prefer a camping vacation with a touch of luxury. That means: Well-being in a double pack, for humans and animals alike.
To the north of the campsite is another dog forest, which extends over 25 hectares and offers your dog plenty of space to run and run around.
Skagen Sydstrand Camping is a nature campsite with direct access to a family-friendly beach, forest and dunes. When you arrive here, you leave city life behind you. You land in the middle of nature, and what nature! Most of our pitches are larger than 100 m² and surrounded by trees, making them your own little oasis in the middle of North Jutland’s beautiful nature.
We use natural materials in the construction of the buildings, e.g. black wooden cabins with a seedy roof and copper. They not only add charm to the place, but also blend in with the surrounding nature, which will thank you for it. Our completely modernized sanitary buildings are available for washing, showering and cooking. In the sanitary buildings you will find a communal kitchen/lounge, toilet and disabled toilet, bathroom with shower and family room. The other service buildings of the campsite are being renovated in the same modern and natural style.
