We offer numerous hands-on activities for children – from creative expression in the wax workshop, pottery, or crafting in the playhouse to themed weeks with children’s entertainment (e.g., pirate or circus week) and family yoga. An external bike rental service delivers directly to us. An indoor play hall with ping pong, table football, and billiards, as well as two spacious playgrounds, provides plenty of opportunities for active fun. A night watchman’s hike and a playful city tour complete the program.

Experience nature-close relaxation with us at Lake Schwerin, surrounded by trees, water, and tranquility. As a small, family-friendly campsite without group bookings, the focus is on unwinding: no Wi-Fi, but plenty of nature. Individually bookable massages, cosmetics, a hairdresser, and a barrel sauna by the lake offer private retreats. The experience is rounded off by a self-built sauna and an inviting relaxation area designed for your comfort.

Since 2011, we have been Germany’s first climate-friendly campsite. Thanks to renewable energy, heating systems made from renewable raw materials, and climate protection projects, a climate-neutral vacation is possible. We consciously avoid Wi-Fi – to reduce energy consumption and enhance the nature experience. Our organic shop, the restaurant “Zum Oberförster,” and our own ice cream manufactory with homemade organic ice cream complete the sustainable concept.

Located directly in the Schwerin Lake District and right on the “Blue Eight” cycling route, the campsite is the ideal starting point for tours through nature and culture. Paved bike paths and beautiful landscapes make it a perfect base for cyclists. Along the route, numerous sights invite you to stop and explore.
