The campsite is located on the northwest edge of the Friedwald forest, a sprawling forest area stretching between Moritzburg and Weinböhla, not far from Meissen. The campsite is unzoned and offers 30 tourist pitches. The sanitary building offers ample washing, toilet, and shower facilities. Trees provide shade while adding an authentic camping charm. The adjacent small forest pool with its natural swimming lake offers designated swimming areas for swimmers and non-swimmers, a playground, table tennis tables, and a volleyball court. The campsite is an ideal starting point for excursions to destinations such as the state capital of Dresden.
